Hi there! I’m Tricia Vivienne Blanc.

My love for photography is born out of my love for storytelling.

I’ve played in creative spaces all my life, as a writer, visual artist, graphic designer and creative art director. I’ve worked in the publishing and design industry for 20 years, lived in many different parts of the world, and collaborated with fellow creatives in everything from digital and print media to commercials and film.

Now, a Toronto-based studio portrait photographer, I’m looking for story. How do we, as individuals, experience the worlds we inhabit and share our experiences with those around us? How do we envision and express our own stories?

Perhaps through our sense of personal style, the language of our body (I’m told that I tell a story with all my limbs - watch out, here comes a sweeping arm). Or maybe it’s in our expressions - the way we can raise just that single eyebrow, or the uniqueness of our smiles and the language-lines that transform our faces in moments of joy.
